Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
I graduated in 2006 with a Masters Degree in
Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University
and have a private practice in San Jose.
Before becoming a Marriage and Family
Therapist, I began my professional life as
a Registered Nurse and Family Nurse
Practitioner. I have a Master's Degree in Nursing
from UCSF that was received in 1986.
I find my Nursing background adds to my Psychotherapy
Practice. I believe that our physical health is deeply connected
to our mental health and I work with my clients to help them understand
this mind/body connection.
I specialize in treating anxiety, trauma, PTSD, relational issues, depression,
couples, parenting issues, transitions in life, grief, and issues surrounding chronic illness.
